PS: this unit from Service is an aftermarket system, if it was designed for the CR500R, then it may work great for the CR500R, and not as good for the 250CC engines.kind of impossible to have an Ignition system that is optimal for a 500CC Honda Torque monster and a 250CC Honda Higher reving engine at the same time. We have used these and will amke them available if the 2001's are no longer being made.
